All procedures have been completed recently with the signing of the contracts, between the Energy Service of the Ministry of Commerce, & Tourism and Conergy Cyprus, which was awarded the most ambitious contract for Renewable Energy Sources in Cyprus, with the planned installation of Photovoltaic systems in a total of 65 public buildings (48 schools, 13 government buildings and 4 army camps). The total budget is 4,4 m. Euro. The Photovoltaics are estimated to be Installed and connected to the national electricity grid by June 2010, at the latest.
It consists of
65 PV systems with total power of 1.100kWp including:

It offers
The PV system will generate 1.650MWh of solar power annually, leading to a reduction of CO2 emissions by 1.540 tons.
